After dark, DO NOT use the highly stimulating white channel, instead set the device to 100% deep amber and dim to a level where you can still see your environment.

Yes, but ONLY use the device set to 100% deep amber as the white channel is highly stimulating and will disrupt sleep if used after dark.
Why would I choose the Sky Portal Mini over the Sky Portal?
The Sky Portal Mini is made for travel, flexibility, and tight spaces. It gives you the same powerful circadian-supporting light as the full-size Sky Portal 2.1, but in a compact, portable form you can take anywhere. Use it in hotel rooms, at your desk, in your kitchen—anywhere you need better light but can’t set up a full rig. If you want full-room immersion at home, go with the 2.1, but if you need something to keep you aligned on the go, the Mini is the clear choice.
Can I bring it on a plane?
Yes. The Sky Portal Mini is safe to bring on a plane, but make sure to pack it in your carry-on, not your checked luggage. Since it contains a built-in battery (and doubles as a power bank), it needs to stay with you during the flight. Just toss it in your bag and enjoy better light wherever you land.
