Most devices and core accessories are eligible, including: Ironforge, Lux Vital, D-Light, Sky Portal, Red Portal, Sky Portal Mini, Golden Glos, Nightshades, Radiance, Skylight, Purple Wand, Promethean Portal and select mounts or stands.

Home Trial Guidelines

  • Keep your original packaging. All returns must ship back in Chroma packaging. We will not accept returns shipped in non-Chroma packaging. If you discarded it, we can sell replacement packaging and you will cover the cost to ship it to you.

  • Your 100 days start on the delivery date. Submit your return request within 100 days of delivery.

  • Condition on return. Items must arrive in like-new condition. "Like-new" means no dirt, pet hair, stains, fragrance contamination, or water damage. Any returns involving the Golden Glo Glasses or Nightshade Glasses must be completely scratch free. Any returns involving the Purple Wand must not have been used internally for obvious health reasons. Identified damages upon return due to user abuse or improper packing may result in prorated reduction of refund amount.

  • No misuse or improper packing. Damage from misuse or poor repacking may reduce your refund.

  • Cosmetic only issues are not eligible. Purely cosmetic blemishes that do not affect function are not grounds for a return or refund. Examples include minor scuffs, small finish variations, slight gaps, or marks on devices from normal packaging and transportation.

Return shipping

  • Contiguous United States and Canada. Orders over $200USD qualify for free return shipping.

  • Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and international destinations. Returns do not qualify for free return shipping. The return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.

  • You must drop off your return within 14 days of receiving your labels or the request will be canceled and labels voided.

How to start a return

  1. Email hello@getchroma.co with your order number and the item you want to return.

  2. We will send prepaid return labels and simple packing instructions within two (2) business days.

  3. Pack the item in its original packaging exactly as instructed, attach the labels, and drop off with the specified carrier.

  4. We will confirm receipt and begin inspection.

Refund processing

  • We inspect returns within 1 to 10 business days of receipt.

  • Refunds are processed within 1 to 10 business days after inspection to the original payment method only.

  • If we find damage from misuse, missing parts, or poor packing, we may prorate the refund to cover repair or replacement.

  • International sales taxes, customs duties, and related handling fees are not refunded. For international orders, any return shipping fee is deducted from the refund.

We will always do our best to facilitate fair and just returns and refunds. However, as experts in our field, we may assess signs of misuse or damage differently than the customer. In these cases, Chroma will always make the final determination regarding refund eligibility and amounts.

Shipments that are damaged, missing, or lost

  • Damage or missing items on delivery. Report any in transit damage or shortages within five business days of receipt. We will file the carrier claim and arrange replacements.

  • We are not responsible for personal items or data left in returned merchandise.

  • We are responsible for the monetary value of the product only. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages.

Warranty issues vs returns

If you believe your product is defective, contact hello@getchroma.co. Our team will help troubleshoot and, if needed, process a warranty repair or replacement. Warranty support is separate from the 100 day satisfaction guarantee.

Some fixes are simple and can be handled locally. For these issues such as fan replacements as an example, we may ship replacement parts and help coordinate repairs with local professionals.
