Every Chroma light therapy device carries a 5-year warranty from the original purchase date. This covers manufacturing defects, malfunctions, and failure under normal use. No registration required. Your order is the record.

LED irradiance commitment: Our LEDs maintain ≥70% of rated irradiance through 5 years of normal use. If output drops below that threshold during the warranty term, that’s a covered claim.
Glasses, Accessories & Merchandise
Nightshades, Golden Glo, stands, and accessories aren’t covered under the 5-year warranty. If something arrives damaged or defective, report it within 30 days of delivery and we’ll replace it.

How to Make a Claim
Option 1 — Loop portal
Start your claim at getchroma.loopreturns.com. Your order links automatically via Shopify.
Option 2 — Email
Email hello@getchroma.co with your order number, a description of the issue, and a photo or short video.
We’ll confirm coverage and choose repair, replacement, store credit, or refund based on what makes the most sense for the issue. If the product is defective or malfunctioning, we cover return shipping.
International Orders
Same 5-year coverage worldwide. For international claims where return shipping to the US isn’t practical, we’ll arrange local repair (where a qualified partner is available) or ship a replacement to your region. Coverage doesn’t change, only the logistics.
A Few Details

Non-transferable. Coverage applies to the original purchaser on the linked Shopify order only.

No registration needed. Your order is the record.

Effective for orders placed January 1, 2025 and later. Orders before that date are covered under the warranty terms included in the original order confirmation.

Separate from the 100-day trial. The trial covers satisfaction — return a device for any reason within 100 days. The warranty covers quality — defects, malfunctions, and failures for 5 years. If a defect shows up within the first 100 days, the warranty path is better for you: no condition requirements, no restocking fee, we cover shipping.

Policy updates. Chroma reserves the right to update this warranty policy. Any changes apply to orders placed on or after the updated effective date and do not affect coverage for prior purchases.
Note on Skylight. Skylight carries the full 5-year warranty but is excluded from the 100-day satisfaction trial due to its size and shipping complexity. If you have a Skylight defect or malfunction, the warranty path is the right one.
