Ironforge Mini

The Ironforge Mini can be used with the faceplate directly against your skin, or up to 6" for targeted use. Keep the device in constant motion over your body to avoid excessive heat buildup.

As with any new stimuli, start small and work up to a dose that works well for your body. Many people find their ideal dose between 5-10 minutes a day, spread over the whole body and focusing more on their problem areas.

The timeline for seeing results from red light therapy (RLT) can vary depending on the individual's condition, and the specific treatment goals. Some of our users report feeling near-immediate relief, specially in terms of reduced inflammation and pain, while others see relief after a few sessions. 

Generally, for skin-related outcomes such as improved texture and healing, or for deeper tissue effects like muscle recovery and joint health, noticeable results may emerge after consistent use over a period of two to six weeks.

The Ironforge Mini is not a medical device and shouldn’t replace professional care when needed. However, many users find they can reduce their reliance on recurring appointments or intense "healing" modalities.  Using the Ironforge Mini alongside tools such as ice baths, massage, and physical therapy can increase total effectiveness.

Yes. The Ironforge Mini uses wavelengths that have been widely studied and shown to be safe when used properly. There is no UV output, and the device is engineered to meet strict safety standards. Just follow the usage guidelines and allow your body to adapt gradually if you're new to red light therapy.

Yes. For optimal results, red and near-infrared light should reach the skin without interference. Using the Ironforge directly on clean, bare skin maximizes absorption and effectiveness. For those more private areas of the body, increase your use distance to reduce intensity of the exposure.

Wavelengths beyond about 700 nanometers are invisible to the human eye, it's normal to not see any light from the LEDs labeled in this range.

This is by design as near infrared (NIR) light is the frequency range that penetrates deepest into the tissue to do their job.

One way to verify complete function is using an inexpensive wall power meter like the "kill-a-watt" device, you should see around 200W +-10W of power draw.
