Chroma Sky Portal
The light you flip on at 3am is rewriting your child's night.
The Sky Portal has a flicker-free, blue-light-free amber mode. Bright enough to change a diaper by. Quiet enough that nobody's cells think it's noon.

I especially use it at night on the low brightness red to wind down before bed. I have been falling asleep faster and getting a much better night's sleep since using it.
You chose everything in the nursery. Except the light.

Melanopsin runs the clock
A photoreceptor in the eye with one command: blue light means stay awake.
At 3am, a white bulb reads as noon
You are telling your baby's cells it's the middle of the day. And your own cells hear it too.
Ninety seconds decides the night
The difference between going back down in ten minutes and tossing for two hours is often just the light they saw.
Bedtime stops being a fight
Ceiling lights off, Sky Portal on. From sunset the older ones are up against nature, not you.
There was never a light for the hours in between.
Because let's be honest: candlelight is beautiful, but you can't read by it. So when you need to see after dark, you reach for the harsh ceiling light and undo the whole mood in a second. The Sky Portal's amber mode is the light that was missing in between. Gentle on your clock. Warm on the eyes. Bright enough to get things done.
Candles for how the room feels.
The Sky Portal for everything you still need to do.

Bright sky wavelengths
Energizing white and cyan light tuned to a clear blue sky, for the indoor hours that read to the body like a long dim dusk.
Image — amber night mode, 3am feed
Deep amber, no blue
Calming amber with deep red wavelengths to support melatonin. Warm on the eyes, and still bright enough to see what you're doing.
How it compares
Not a nightlight. Not the ceiling light.

Before purchasing I spent hours researching stimulating white and relaxing amber lights. There are very few lights on the market that can compete with the Sky Portal. The quality of light is fantastic.

The light is strong but pleasant and can be adjusted. The amber is rich and calming. Would strongly recommend.

Fair questions
Before you add it to the registry
Yes — set to 100% deep amber. The white channel is highly stimulating and will disrupt sleep if used after dark, so night use means amber only.
A normal lamp is built to help you see. The Sky Portal is built to be read by the clock cells in your eyes. Most warm white bulbs still throw a strong daytime signal at the wrong hour. It's the spectrum and the timing that matter, not just brightness.
Many people feel the effects immediately in energy, alertness and mood. Consistent daily use over one to two weeks is often enough to notice a real lift, and sleep benefits build as the body adapts to a healthier light environment.
Test it for 100 nights. If it doesn't change your evenings, send it back for a full refund, no questions asked. Every Sky Portal also carries a 5-year warranty.
