Day Mode is where THE BULB really shines. Most bulbs flicker constantly and use the same harsh blue wavelengths as your phone screen. THE BULB only uses wavelengths that mimic the suns. A Big Circadian Rhythm Plus

"I purchased the original version of this Sky Portal Mini & bc of battery/charging issues couldn’t use it regularly. Once it was replaced with this newer version, I’ve definitely seen an improvement of my circadian rhythm, helping to regulate my wake & sleep pattern! I’ll also mention here that the customer service I received from Chloe was excellent! I have a # of other Chroma products that I’m also very pleased with, including the 2023 version of the Ironforge still going strong, & the newer Flashlight. My next will probably be the new Mini version of the Ironforge. (BC of space limitation, I use my Ironforge for a systemic treatment as well)"

Happy overall

"The Sky Portal Mini is a nice device and gives a good light. It comes with a stand, which I like much more than expected. It has rubber feet, one of which fell off on the first day (it’s gone, I don’t even know where it is). I would have appreciated to be able to power the two different LEDs separately instead of having a sliding scale. The button operation is not smooth, most of the time I have to press several times and I keep thinking something’s wrong. Maybe it just takes some time until the input is detected. If you don’t plan to use it for traveling, I don’t think it’s worth it to get a Mini, better get the normal version."

High quality, but know your use case!

"The mini has a high build quality and nice UI, however, its use is more limited than I expected. Not dinging the score because this is largely my fault, but the advertising could also be clearer. If you want a portable SAD or midday entrainment style light, amazing! Then as a bonus you have early evening capability as well. Unfortunately, I was expecting to use it as a first and last hour of the day device. Even at the lowest power setting, it feels too strong for that. It's jarring first thing in the morning, and too powerful late night. For travel, it's still superior to the typical hotel lighting, of course. I'd love a different spectrum offering in a similar package. Much lower minimum brightness and color spectrum, maybe some IR."

Energizing light

"Purchased this device hoping it would help with my seasonal blues. I typically wake up about an hour and a half before the sun in the winter time I was starting to drag. I look forward to my morning coffee and skylight mini time. My wife thinks I’m insane sitting at the table with this bright a** light but it works and she married me so… luckily for me she really enjoys the amber setting at night. We no longer use the lights in our house and just turn this on while we wind down at night. It’s a vibe. Nice that it’s portable so I can continue my light obsession on the road. Also have the ironforge, radiance and just ordered the ironforge mini. Every product chroma sells is impressive and worth the price. I need to unsubscribe from their marketing emails because it’s costing me an arm and a leg lol."

Perfect day and night companion

"I love using it during the day while I work on my laptop to feel alert and productive. Then at night, warming down with the amber light to prepare my eyes for sleep.
